A man meets with the father of his girlfriend for his blessing. The two discuss their perspectives on their love for the same person, even though they may be at odds.

Director's Statement

I wrote this film around the time I was asking my own father-in-law if I could marry his daughter. Stars In Our Darkness was born out of the idea that two people, who have completely different life perspectives, can show love just as equally but in different shades and colors. I am very happy with the end result and feel like this film has a unique perspective on love and what it looks like. I am happy to make a film that has a message that I can stand by as a filmmaker.
